This & That
Best Sound bite ever!
Tony’s all-time favorite story he covered as a TV news reporter also earned him his first Emmy Award. Probably because it contains his all-time favorite sound bite.
Can you pick it out? 😆
Star Wars Geek
Tony is a big Star Wars geek. We say that with love.
As a matter of fact, he can recite Star Wars: A New Hope word-for-word. He might even hum the music that accompanies the lines.
Tony doesn’t have a Stormtrooper uniform in his closet or anything, but it doesn’t mean he wouldn’t want one.
Student-Athlete
You’d never know it based on his size, but Tony was a walk-on football player for the University of Southern California Trojans, and he made the team all four years he was in school.
What position did he play?
“I was a tackling dummy. Very important position.” 😆
Actually, the only position he ever played in a game was long snapper on punts and field goals. He got into four games and recorded two solo-tackles.
Family Man
Last, but not least, Tony is a devoted family man.
A wife, daughter, dog, and cat. Yes, dogs and cats, living together, mass hysteria!
Him and his family are avid travelers. Big cities, beaches, national parks… you name it.
